Thanks to the special land condition compared to other countries in the world, located at the end of Mekong river downstream and purified by Cuu Long rivers (brackish water), Ben Tre coconut farming land is the alluvium land full of humus and good bacteria. For this reason, the average productivity of Ben Tre reaches to 1.9 tons copra/hectares, which is higher than the average rate of APCC. Oil concentrate in Ben Tre coconut is more than 65%. Moreover, the coconut water is very sweet (brix = 7% - 9%), so it's highly favored.
Understanding the principle about the association between challenges and opportunities, right in the context of the tough economy characterized by concentrated production of raw, preliminary products and higher dependence on some certain markets, Betrimex has invested in construction of TTC factory - Phong Nam Industrial Zone in Giong Trom District - a coconut water and coconut milk manufacturing plant using European machines and technologies, with total area of about 7.5 hectares and total investment capital of more than $20 millions. It is expected that after being put into operation, the plant would create production value of the coconut industry inside and outside the province with a maximum capacity of 42 million liters/year, and create jobs for hundreds of local laborers. This is a significant activity contributing to the completed value chain and allowing Ben Tre's coconut to reach new heights.

Coconut water and coconut milk factory: Thanh Thanh Cong factory has an area of 7.5 hectares with the capacity of 46 million liters per year. The technological line was imported from Tetra Pak, Sweden which uses direct UHT technology – processing product at high temperature in a very short time (140 - 144°C/4s), preserving the nutrients and fresh flavor of Ben Tre coconuts. The factory has been certified FSSC 22000, BRC, USFDA, HALAL, KOSHER, USDA ORGANIC, EU - ORGANIC, BSCI, ISO 14001:2005, OHSAS 18001:2007.
