Thai Preserved Food Factory Company Limited was established in 1972. Preserved Instant Noodles and Instant Rice Vermicelli have been produced under the "Wai Wai" brand name. Later on, the new produced as well as the quantity of products have been extended which depends on the market demands. Furthermore, the products have been applied depending on the behavior of the present consumers. From the foregoing, the "Wai Wai Quick" brand name has been launched. In addition, a new factory was built. At present, the company has got two lines of production. Each line has got the same policy that is to say the products must he high standardized of quality, the highest nutrition, the cleanest, the most hygienic, and under the international standardization before reaching the consumers. The company has got 6 products lines. There are : Instant Rice Stick Rice Vermicelli, Instant Rice Vermicelli, Instant Noodles, Instant Wonton, Pre-cooked Rice Porridge. Each product has got a lot of variety flavors. The consumers can choose depending on their preferable. At the moment, the company has got a capability of production 120 tons per day. Moreover, we are under the control of the Ministry of Public Health and the Ministry of Industry so as to prove that our products are high standardized of quality. In addition, the human resource development is concerned by the company. There is a training center to enhance the sufficiency of the employees. The specific experts are also invited to give their presentations and training courses, as well. It is no doubt that the products under the "Wai Wai" and "Wai Wai Quick" brand names are accepted both in domestic and foreign countries. Besides this, the safety of community and environment are also concemed. The procedure of the production does not make the community and environment polluted. There are wells of water treatment (i.e. it is a forty percent of the plant's area) in order to recycle polluted water to be the clean one. The method of recycle is the natural one. Furthermore, the multi cyclone system is applied to get rid of dust and smoke. Rubbish is destroyed by burning in the stove. At the same time, the department of Research and Development and the department of Quality Control are established so as to examine and control the quality of the products under the standardization. Moreover, the flavor of the products are developed. In order to response the consumers' demands of new flavor but reserve delicious taste, the "Wai Wai" and "Wai Wai Quick" have been launched. It is one choice for the consumers to buy preserved cooked noodles depending on their preferable, for instance, Minced Pork Flavor, Tom Yum Shrimp. Pa-lo Duck flavor, Chilli Paste Tom Yum Flavor, etc. In 1997 the company extended several cargoes to each region in order to make the distribution of the products more quickly and conveniently. They are in Nakhorn Sawan, Nakhorn Rachasima, and Chiang Mai. This policy would extend the new distribution including the retailing shops in the rural area, as well. Furthermore, this excellent policy can enable the company to distribute the products within one day not the three days as in the past. With the environmentally concerned, advanced productivity together with the expertise of quality control personnel, there is a success in exporting of the "Wai Wai" products that achieved the "Prime Minister's Export Award 1999". It declared the honor and pride to the company as well as supporting government sectors in developing and improving the country's economy. With reasons, our products have been popular among the customer worldwide i.e., the United States, Japan,European countries, Australia as well as North America, Asia and Indo Chinese Countries. The rice vermicelli products are sold profitably in Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore. The Company also specially indicates marketing activities in Lao PDR. The "Wai Wai" products are the market leader in Myanmar and Cambodia. more
