Formononetin 98% is a phytochemical that is known as a flavonoid. It belongs to the subgroup of flavonoids, known as isoflavones. It is found in red clover and other plants. This compound is a weak phytoestrogen, meaning it can bind to the receptors that bind the female hormone estrogen. Having phytoestrogens in one’s diet is usually considered beneficial.
