Atlantic cod is primarily caught by trawlers in the North Atlantic Ocean and the Barents Sea. It is one of the most popular fish in the world. The flesh of the cod is white with a firm texture. Cod is mainly used salted, dried, and for fresh or frozen fillets.

It is caught all year round .

The main products are IQF fillet,portion,loins.block frozen(belly/nape,B&P,loinless) and lightly salted fillet(salt content 2%)

For fillet --Skin:skinnless or skin-on Bone:PBO or PBI
