The Matcha House Europe was founded in 2009 as the European sales office of Aoi Seicha Co., Ltd of Japan with the purpose of establishing permanent and stable field operations outside Japan. We chose to setup in Barcelona as we considered it to be a key hub for attending our clients and partners both in EMEA and Latin America.

We sell and distribute high quality Matcha in a wide array of possible grades, from Ceremonial grade to culinary to meet the needs of the most demanding chefs. Our Matcha is also perfect for industrial processing both with and without heating processes. We also sell and distribute several kinds of Japanese Green Tea in the varieties of Sencha, Gyokuro, Hojicha and Genmaicha.

In order to assure the freshness and quality of our products, we do not hold distribution stocks in Barcelona and we delivery orders directly from Nishio, Japan. We only keep small amounts of our products in our sales office to attend sampling requests. Therefore, we are flexible on our minimum lot quantities and formats.

In our wish to develop lasting and trusted relationships, we have been engaging in different professional programs:
