Gracilaria seaweed is cultured in the brackish water area. It is a species of red algae. In my country, gracilaria seaweed is developing strongly. Yearly, we have harvested and produce about 3000 tons of dried gracilaria seaweed.
To dried white gracilaria seaweed achieved the export standards. We have to handle raw gracilaria seaweed quite carefully and make to drying completely under intense sunlight.
Dried white gracilaria seaweed is good food for humans. It used commonly as vegetables in the salad, the drinking. White gracilaria has contained a lot of nutrients consist of protein, carbohydrate, vitamin C, beta-carotene, calcium, Zínc, and rich an Iodine.
