The juice concentrate is widely used in grape juice beverage, for a flavour and coloring goal and be able to claim the product is from grape.



The wine industry is using a lot of grape juice (white and red, or rectified) in order to adjust the final alcohol content of wines, to give more dry extracts (mineral salts), more acidity content, polyphenols and with the red one more colour. There are some vintages where the grape is very poor in colour, polyphenols and mineral salts so the grape juice concentrate can adjust the product. The rectified juice concentrate is used to increase the final alcohol content and increase sweetness of the products
