In order to get a yearly output of 100,000 tonnes, Vietnam has established main growing regions in Hai Hung, Nghe An provinces, Da Nang, Binh Duong. peanut from the Centre and the South of Vietnam is rather good at its sight but peanut from the North is preferred because of its better quality.

However, this is the large-quantity product, therefore, sometimes supply is bigger than demand, resulting in not very good prices for suppliers and exporters. This may make groundnut growers wish to switch from this produce to other more profitable agricultural trees in the future.
