Gymnema Sylvestre also known as Gymnema rattan, Morinda, Smilax, the Department of Asclepiadaceae plants. Gymnema extract is mainly composed of triterpenoid saponins, glycosides, flower pigments, polysaccharides and other constituents. The extract has hypoglycemic, lipid-lowering and anti-platelet aggregation activation.
