Hanoi Beer Alcohol and Beverage Joint Stock Corporation (Habeco)
Forming from the previous Hommel Brewery established in 1890 by French named Hommel. After the year 1954, The Northern was completely released, the Hommel Brewery was suspended and at a deserted condition. In the year 1957, the Hommel Brewery was stored and renamed Hanoi Brewery by the Government. On 15 th , August, 1958 the first beer bottle of Viet Nam branded Truc Bach was introduced to the market under the artisans' Performance of Hommel Brewery supported by the beer experts from Czechoslovakia.
Habeco has become one of the two biggest corporations in Beer - Alcohol and Beverage manufacturing industry in Vietnam after many investments in innovation of equipment and technology. The year 2010, Habeco inaugurated and put the Hanoi – Me Linh Brewery into operation. This is the most modern Brewery with a comprehensive system in South - East Asia, raise the annual beer manufacturing capacity to 400 million litters.
At present, along with 25 member companies, the Corporation has gained continuous growth in recent years with the famous products as Truc bach beer, Hanoi beer premium bottle 330ml, Hanoi beer can 330ml, Hanoi beer bottle 450ml. Hanoi beer with high quality has received many prizes in exhibitions both locally and internationally. Mainly being made from malt, Houblon, Water, purebred Enzyme with a long - days fermentation process traditionally, Hanoi beer attracts almost people by its specific aroma, sweet bitter, a mass of fine white froth, typical blond colour and CO 2 level make the consumers a fresh and nutritious feeling when drink.
The beer products of Habeco have been widely distributed to home market, foreign markets as Taiwan, Korea, United Kingdom, Germany, The Netherlands, United State of America, Australia and many other countries all over the world in order to satisfy the Consumers love.
The annual average growth rate of Habeco in recent years is 15%, average Revenue has increased by 15%, budget contribution increases over 20%, profit increased by 12% per year.
Habeco has continuously invested in technical improvements in order to developing and expanding production, product quality, environmental protection, labor’s health improvement. Nowadays, Habeco has integrated three systems: Quality management System ISO 9001:2000, Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2004 and Food Safety Management System ISO 22000: 2005.
