Two high capacity RO membranes are used in series to provide the required water production rate. The system is supplied with a 14 gallon storage tank which is designed to hold 9 gallons of water in reserve for peak demand requirements. RO technology removes an average of 95% of the total dissolved solids from the water. This means that the water supplied from the unit is soft. This will prevent build-up of calcium on fixtures and in equipment like espresso machines, coffee equipment, ice machines and steamers. The system includes a booster pump to ensure that the system operates properly.
