The product has to be free from preservatives and other additives,
According to the regulation stated in the EEC legislation and USFDA standard.
Well peeled and washed, bla nched, typica l carrot color, characteristic fla vour and taste, without
pesticide resid ues, without dama ged or rotten ones, without foreign substa nce.
3. Parameters of approval:
Size: 20-50mm dia meter of slices, thick ness 5mm, min 80% carrots are fine regular slices which fall
within this size.
Colour: typica l color of this variety
Taste and fla vour: typica l, sound, ripe carrot
Skin: absent
Foreign bodies & others: absent
