DOLFIN, was born as a confectionery company in 1914. Today it produces and sells in all the national territory and also to many foreign markets, specialising in fruit freezer pops for the summer campaign, chocolate items for the Christmas campaign and Chocolate Easter eggs for the Easter campaign. DOLFIN is today without any doubt market leader on all the Italian territory with its summer product 'Polaretti', delicious ready to freeze ice pops with real fruit juice. DOLFIN history begins far away in 1914, with the handicraft candy production. The following step is the production of confetti and the commercialisation of typical Sicilian products to national spread. DOLFIN assumes industrial valence in 1948, with the automatization of the production processes. In 1964 a new plant for the production of chocolate, and in particular of chocolate eggs, is built. And with reference to the quality of chocolate eggs, DOLFIN is in fact among the first Italian manufactures, and surely the main producer of Southern Italy. Subsequently a new idea is developed, and so the production of a new product: the ready to freeze ice pop!With the Polaretti brand - delicious ready to freeze ice pop with fruit juice - DOLFIN becomes market leader and today is consolidating its leadership in the market of ice-pops, with the launch of a brand new, and winning product: GRANIGEL, the freezable Italian sorbet with real fruit juice. The production capacity reaches up to 500 tons of chocolate and 4,000 tons of ice pops per year. DOLFIN is a company in constant increase!
