LINEAR LABELLING machine FOR SELF ADHESIVE LABELS

The machine is designed to apply:

a) Shaped
      - front  label and one
      - back label on both sides of oval, pyramidal and rectangular containers;
  
b) Round
      - partial or wrap-around label on cylindrical containers with vertical outline (not conical)

Required Production Rate:  3.000 bph
Max Production Rate on shaped containers: 5.000 bph with label length max 100 mm
Max Production Rate on cylindrical containers: 4.000 bph with label length max  250 mm on Ø 75 mm

NOTE: on cylindrical containers the label length must not exceed the bottle diameter

Horizontal and vertical application tolerance
+/- 0,5 mm from 0 to 70%;
+/- 1 mm from 70,1 to 98%;
+/- 1,5 mm from 98,1 to 99,9%;
These tolerances are not set.
They are typical tolerances based on experience of use with good quality materials.

II. Way of working:
The products to be labelled are carried by a conveyor. The products are spaced by a couple of side belts; oval containers are aligned by a second couple of small belts. Containers that have to be labelled on both sides are held by a top hold down belt, electronically synchronized with the conveyor. Two labelling stations apply the labels on both sides of the container. Labels are wiped through sponge rollers or brushes while containers are held between conveyor and upper belt. Cylindrical containers go to the wrapping station, composed by a side belt and a fixed counter rail,  which lets the containers rotate around their vertical axis; the labels are wrapped around the bottle. The wrapping belt can be quickly removed when it is not used. Finally, labelled products are released on the outlet conveyor.

III. System features:
The machine height is adjustable, with a 1.000 mm standard height and a +/- 50 mm tolerance.

IV. Electrical Data:
Supply Voltage: 400VAC three phases + neutral + earth , 50-60 Hz.
Command Voltage: 24 VDC.

1) Aluminium base frame with stainless steel cover and PVC lateral panels;
2) 3 meter long conveyor with stainless steel structure 95x145 H and Delrin chain 82.5 mm wide;
