Sundrop Fruit Juices Bhd. has been manufacturing beverages since the company was set up by Green Spot International from Pasadaena, USA. The first beverages manufacturing plant opened in December, 1957. In 1987, the name Green Spot was changed to Sundrop Fruit Juices Bhd. when the company began manufacture of non-Green Spot beverages. In 1992 the company commenced manufacture of canned coffee and tea drinks.

The company manufactured beverages first in returnable glass bottles and later in two piece cans.

In 2006, in response to high logistics costs lack of retail space at outlets and demand from our customers, the company developed a separate beverage line which enabled our beverages to be produced by our customers at their outlets via use of concentrates and dispensing systems. more
