ABOUT MARIE SHARP'S FINE FOODS, LTD.
In the early years of the 1980's, in a country called Belize, located in Central America, Marie Sharp came up with some ideas and recipes in her kitchen when experimenting with her own original sauces, jams and jellies using their wholesome locally farmed Habanero peppers, various fresh fruits, vegetables and spices. When she started to introduce her creations to friends and neighbors to try, she was overwhelmed with positive feedback and encouragement. That was when she decided to turn it into a family business in 1981.
Initially, we started our production in a small kitchen, says Marie, with help from relatives and one employee. With a determined business frame of mind, it has grown now to a fully staffed manufacturing facility with laboratories located in Stann Creek District in Belize, where Marie Sharps Fine Foods, Ltd. manufactures to the Local and international markets.
Our family-owned business takes great pride and honor in qualifying for the slogan - Proud Products of Belize.
