Marjoram comes from the southeastern part of the Mediterranean Sea and South Asia basin. The herb is most appreciated as an addition to fat roasts, sausages,
POTATO and vegetables dishes. It is used to season all types of stuffing, mutton, baked meats and tripe. It gives the proper aroma to baked goose, sour rye soups, pea soups and other dishes from leguminous plants. Marjoram is best added at the end of cooking, and in the case of meats and pork product it is added before preparing the dish.
