With the absorption of O2,it will release an equivalent volume of CO2,or other non-toxic sterilizing gas if desired,It can effectiveil restrain aerobic and anaerobic microorganisms,such as fungi,bacteria,yeast,ect.By replacing the removed free O2 with CO2,the air pressure of the sealed package is balanced.Therefore it will prevent the further penetration of oxygen into the package,as well as prevent the shrinking or collapsing of the package with flexible wall.
