The Beginning:

Pieters Kaas was founded on May 3 1990 in Huizen by Pieter van der Poel.

Pieter starts only in a small warehouse and he deals mainly in whole cheeses. This works well and quickly he shifts the trade of whole cheeses to the processing of cheese. The company is growing and stands over 20 years for excellent service and quality.

In 2010 a new and big warehouse is in use after already 3 times outgrowing the previous smaller warehouses.
Casper and Stefan Van der Poel - both sons of Peter - are now full time involved in the company.

Today:

Pieters Kaas is a small family business that has specialized in cutting and packaging of many kinds of cheeses. These cheeses are both Dutch as foreign. The services are available for wholesale

and for retail and there is a possibility to produce under private label. This happens under controlled conditions and with various certifications (Halal, Kosher, Eko, BRC).
