API (An Phu Irradiation.) is top J.S Company in supplying irradiation treatment service for fresh fruit, frozen seafood, poultry, meat, medical devices, pharmaceutical products: jewelry stone...in Vietnam. Our treatment capacity is 120 tons per day. Our company was officially verified and certified in July 2009 by the APHIS, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to be most qualified irradiation facility in Vietnam to treat the fruits to export to the USA. Besides, we also supply cold storage leasing service with a capacity of 3,000 tons.
Now we are building the second irradiation facility named An Phu Binh Minh Irradiation Company (located at Binh Minh Industrial Park, Vinh Long Province). The total invested capital of the first stage is 150 billions VND, this facility is scheduled to start operations at the beginning of 2011 with a capacity of 150 tons per day.
On July 2009, the Dragon Fruit was approved by APHIS/USDA as the first fruit of Vietnam to be allowed to enter into the US with the condition that the fruits need to pass irradiation treatment facility as a mandatory criteria. We are irradiating red dragon fruit for many Vietnamese exporters who are very pleased with our service and their customers are also very happy with the amazing quality of irradiated dragon fruit. Thanks to amazing customer satisfaction, they are getting more orders and continually using our irradiation service at our company.
Additionally, several other fruits are being analyzed for entrance to the United States. It is anticipated that these fruits, including DRAGON FRUIT, Rambutan, Longan and Litchi, will be able to enter the US in the near future.
