Plavac mali is high quality dry red wine from the wine-growing hills of the island of Hvar. It is produced from the rare, autochthonous Dalmatian Grape cultivar bearing the same name growing in the regions called Dracev dolac, Krusvice and Podhum. It is sparkling, dark red in color with outstanding bouquet of the Plavac mali grape variety, has soft and balanced flavor. Before being bottled it must be aged for at least 16months in oak-barrels. It contains from 13 to 13.5 vol. % of Alcohol as well as5 to 6 g/L of acid. We recommend the wine be served at temperatures from 18°Cto 22°C with dark and game meat.
