Casa de Santa Vitória is a company of Vila Gale Group, a leading hotel groups in Portugal.

The creation of the business Casa de Santa Vitória SA, a producer of quality wines and olive oils, occurred in the late 90's when they decided to buy a farm in Alentejo with 1620 acres, near Beja, to build the Hotel Vila Gale Country Club.

It currently has an approximate area of 130 hectares of vineyard and 150 hectares of olive groves.

In the field the whole area of olive groves and vineyards is treated with utmost care, being under constant surveillance. Every year the quality is controlled and also the number of bunches in the vineyard.

Therefore in order to control the amount and consequently the color and FLAVOR concentration in the Grapes, it is made the weeding or pruning and the production does not exceed 7.5 tons of grape per hectare. The maturation and quality control is done in the field and in the laboratory, during the harvest this takes place in a cellar selection of bunches.

We selected the best equipment in order to be able to provide a high quality product, combining ancient techniques (stone mill) with the most modern technologies and placed our wines in American and French oak, in the basement with a controlled temperature and humidity.

Our cellar has a capacity of vinification of 2,000,000 liters, and it was also prepared to provide services.

The Cellar also has the ideal conditions to receive the general public, for that reason we organize visits.
