Rico Food Industries Sdn. Bhd. (RC) was incorporated in Malaysia on 23rd May 1995 under the Companies Act 1965 as the manufacturer of foodstuffs.

In 1998, the first hardboiled candy machine was brought into the production and RC commenced its business as the hardboiled candies manufacturer.

When the hardboiled candies market are stabilized, RC had taken its further expansion plans from years to years to penetrate into new and different market segments:

In 2003, manufacturing of snack and cereals has been brought into production.

In 2007, manufacturing of jelly & pudding has been brought into production.

In 2008, manufacturing of chocolate products has been brought into production.

RC has expanded its production plant from 1 unit of semi-detached factory building covered 16,000 square feet with the workforce of about 10 employees when it started its business in 1998 to 4 units of semi-detached factory buildings covered 64,000 square feet with the workforce of about 90 employees today.

In 2012, RC has purchased a piece of industrial land covered 200,000 square feet for its further expansion planning and the factory building will be built in the year of 2014.

The main export market of RC covered Middle East, South Africa, South East Asia, Asia, Europe, Australia and etc.

With the steady growth of RC, the board of directors believes that RC will be able to maintain the competitive advantage of its current range of products and further penetrate into new product market. more
