In 1928, when the Abadi family decided to settle in the Holy Land, Eliyahu and his son Yosef opened their first bakery in Jerusalem. Today the Abadi recipe lives on. The Abadi brand is well known throughout Israeli, and the bakery is a global exporter of traditional, Mediterranean cookies, cakes, and other baked goods.
