The Herbert Kluth (GmbH & Co.KG) was founded in 1928 by Mr. Herbert Kluth senior. In 1949 we specialized in the import and distribution of high quality dried fruits and nuts. Up to the end of the 60's we sold our products mainly through private health food stores and also some were owned by the Kluth company.

At the beginning of the 60's we started as one of the first dried fruit packing factories in Germany. Since that time we have been delivering our products to German grocery stores.

The combination of high level quality-control together with good marketing is responsible for the success of our enterprise. Some of our products are market share leaders.

This successful tradition and experience results in the highest quality. When the products arrive at our warehouse, they undergo not only a rigorous quality control by our quality management but also by an independent food laboratory.

Trading distributers   In 1986 the company moved to Norderstedt in a new building. Due to prosporous development the company Kluth started operations with a new production centre and administration building in Summer 2002 in Henstedt-Ulzburg which is located in the north of Hamburg. This modern, completely automated warehouse is capable of storing more than 10.000 pallets and insures a trouble-free turnover of goods.
