MURCIANA DE VEGETALES, was founded in December 1990 by Enrique Serrano Aranda and his family and started up in 1991.
At present the business is run through the company "GRUPO HORTOFRUTÍCULA MURCIANA DE VEGETALES, S.L. OPFH Nº 693".

Our main activity is the growing, packing, presentation and commercialisation of the "Little Gem" and "Romaine-Cos" lettuce varieties, suppyling the market with product which, due to its quality and type of packaging, is quite different from the rest.

Our main customers are the most prestigious supermarket chains in the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, Sweden, Belgium and Denmark.

At the moment we are developing the tomato crop (Baby Plum) and Spanish type cucumber.
We are developing the marketing of ready to eat products.

We dispose of 35.000 m2 of greenhouses for the production of our nursery. In these greenhouses there are Germination Chambers and high precision VISSER sowing machines.

Our lettuce, tomato and cucumber crops are accredited by AENOR based on UNE 15501 - 1:2001 Eurep-Gap and BRC Standards.
