Some drug delivery systems that can utilize the solubilizing ability of TPGS are solid dispersions, self-emulsifying drug delivery systems, self- microemulsifying drug delivery systems, spray drying, and others. Much work has been done to investigate the effect of TPGS on the aqueous solubility of poorly water soluble drugs.
