THE NEFELI SWEET PEPPERS are from the prized Florina variety, which grows exclusively in the eastern Mediterranean. Our peppers grow in the valley of Nestos River, where the fertile soil and the ideal climate create the perfect conditions for this variety to flourish.
The Florina peppers are naturally sweet, mellow, with a gorgeously fragrant flavor. Their flesh is thick, and juicy, with bright red or yellow color.
Our Florina pepper operation is also vertically integrated. We work with selected growers under contract, which are under our continuous supervision throughout the year, to produce the finest quality peppers. Our team, in order to ensure that the final product is clean and safe for consumption, strictly monitors the usage of pesticides or chemicals. The peppers are then roasted and packed within a few hours, in order to preserve their freshness and capture their aroma. Our modern facility only a few minutes away from the fields, follows all the rules and regulations of good manufacturing process and operates under H.A.C.C.P. plan.
