ARGENSUN grows Chamomile in different regions of the country, obtaining a raw material of excellent quality. By means of an industrial process carried out in the company's processing plant in Luján (Buenos Aires Province), located 44 miles (70 km) away from the City of Buenos Aires, we obtain various natural components that are afterwards used in teas. With planned primary production schedules, we are able to supply our clients with consistent product quantity and quality all the year round. Through an innovative process we keep inventories of the different components with the objective to customize each client's product order.
Many years of market experience led ARGENSUN to know different clients worldwide, and their needs. So we have directed our industrial orientation, and our infrastructure, towards the knowledge and achievement of products with the various quality standards each of them needs.

PRODUCTS
The main Chamomile market is consumption of bagged tea. Each packer of Chamomile tea bags has his own recipe according to flavor intensity required and type of packing machine used.
ARGENSUN has the possibility to combine different chamomile blends from a special selection of the best elements produced with high quality raw material. This allows us to obtain the perfect mix between flavor, intensity, specific weight and granulometry for each client.
The most traded product is the fine-cut tea in 35 lb (16 kg) bags.

ARGENSUN has consolidated its leadership position in Argentina as a processor and exporter of confection sunflower related products –it supplies customers in the food industry with over 3000 containers (TEUs) per year, reaching more than 50 countries in all 5 continents. Today our company is one of the two major enterprises in the world dedicated to confection sunflower and, by far, the biggest export company in the Southern hemisphere.
Moreover, its trademark “Pipas” positions ARGENSUN as the domestic market leader and referent in the roasted and salted sunflower seeds category. This product is distributed mainly in kiosks, and also in supermarkets.
Apart from confection sunflower, ARGENSUN has developed, in its product portfolio, other added-value businesses utilizing Argentine high-quality raw material –prune and chamomile for tea, among others.
Continuous investment in new industrial technologies and an increased processing capacity, have led ARGENSUN to achieve high production efficiency and maximum quality standards. From its own offices and processing facilities (Victoria, Luján, Parada Robles, and San Rafael) plus six hired processing plants, with a total storing capacity of 30,000 tons of sunflower seeds, the company’s products are stockpiled, processed, and delivered to the most demanding export markets.
