Free flowing, white to slightly yellowish powder consisting of fine spherical particles.
Practically odourless.
Composition:
The powder particles contain DL-a-tocopherol acetate in droplets of 1-2um embedded in a matrix of gum ariabic and sucrose and coated with starch.
Solubility:
Dispersible in cold water to form a milky emulsion.

Assay: Min. 50% DL- a-tocopherol acetate per gram (=500 former I.U. of Vitamin+E-p1.html" style="text-decoration:underline;font-weight:bold;" target='_blank'>Vitamin E=336 a-TE per gram)
Loss on drying: ≤5% (4 hours at 105°C)

Stabilization/Stability:

The product has been developed for enrichment of softdrinks and can also be used in effervescent tablets and dry food products such as dietetic products and milk powder.
