Characteristics

The dry fruits are so called because they all have one thing in common: on their natural composition (without human manipulation) less than 50% of water. Energy-rich foods are rich in fats, in proteins, as well as trace elements. Depending on the type of dry fruits, can also provide good quantities of vitamins (especially B group), or omega 3 fatty acids (polyunsaturated).

For their flavor privileged and outstanding nutritional qualities, Chileans dehydrated prunes have occupied a place of prestige and high consumption in the international community, positioning you as a highly healthy food.

In their varieties D`Agen, with and without carozo, dehydrated prunes stand out the quality of an agricultural product of exception.

With an intense color, aroma, sweetness and texture, the dehydrated prunes are very felt like to be consumed alone, in desserts and in a great variety of culinary preparations.

The prunes contains mainly:

- Vitamin B, a powerful one anti-rust that defends our organism of the attacks of the harmful free radicals, able to produce cancer and premature aging.

- Soluble and Insoluble dietary fibers that reduce the harmful cholesterol and the risk of suffering cardiac illnesses, besides maintaining the healthy digestive system.

- Potassium that prevents the cramps.

- Contained first floor of sodium, fat and free of cholesterol.

Product Presentation and Quality

Normally our products are packed into Carton Boxes, with a polypropylene bag. We can load a 20 ft container with 2000 boxes meaning a total of 20.000 kilograms of our fruit. Our products are certified by SGS, that measures our quality standards, and SAG (Chilean government national office of phytosanitary inspection) who provide to our products the phytosanitary certificate and Euro 1 certificate.

Also to the dried prunes, we use Additive = potassium sorbate (code E200; maximum 1000 ppm; that cares fruit for one year).

If clients need organic fruit, no additive is use, this organic fruit is packet in 25 kg polypropylene bags.
