Savvy seafood Inc was established in 2002 in Zhanjiang Guangdong province. In these 10 years, we obtained many certificates, such as CIQ, ISO 9001, NSF, YUM, BAP, USDC, EU, BRC, SGS, ACC and so on.
Our company is located in the center of Vannamei shrimp processing areas and not far away from our contracted shrimp ponds to make sure that the shrimp is alive when we processing in the peak season. Our plant area is about 16,000 square meters and workshop area is about 5,000 square meters. What is more, our cold storage can contain 1,200 tons. It is ensure that we have rich stocks to continue export and domestic sales after shrimp peak season until next coming.
There are about 500 regular workers and 80 managing staff in our company, but in the peak season, the regular workers can be reached about800.
Now let me introduce about our facilities and production line. There are 2 pcs of hand breaded lines, 1pcs of machine bread line, 3 pcs of shrimp graders, 1 pcs of fryer, 1 pcs of steam cooker, 1 pcs of boiled cooker, 10 pcs of blast freezer and 1 spiral freezer.
Our mainly Vannamei shrimp products are frozen breaded shrimp, raw or cooked head on shell on, headless shell on, peeled deveined tail on/tail off. As above I mentioned certificates can support us to mainly export our products to USA, EU and Russia. We started to export our frozen breaded shrimp since 2005 after the US anti-dumping. About the Russia, we mainly sale cooked head on shell on there. These two countries are our mainly marker.
Next point, I would like to introduce our shrimp’s sourcing, processing and distribution. Our vannamei shrimp is come from contracted shrimp ponds. Totally there are 8 pcs of contracted shrimp ponds. 5 pcs are in Zhanjiang, other 3 pcs are in Maoming. Maoming is not very far from our plant, it is about 2 hours by car. All the contracted shrimp ponds have the CIQ supply certificated. We will send our staff to inspect the water, shrimp pond sanitation, the source of fry, feeding records and medicine treatment records per month. Before we purchase the shrimp we will got some samples from each batch back to our lab to detect if there is any illegal animal drugs residue, to make sure we get the fresh and health shrimp. Then we processing the shrimps by batch and guided by HACCP, GMP, and SSOP. Besides, we will keep full set of production and inspection records to reviewing if there is any problem in processing. Our lad will detect the products again before we sale them. What’s more, we will list batch number in the shipping document and have a product recall program.
