  Product Description

This is an exquisite black tea from the southern Anhui province in China. When brewed it has a sweet orchid aroma and a dark orange color. Keemun black tea is considered the finest of all black teas.

The aroma of Keemun Black Tea is fruity, with hints of pine (like in Lapsang souchong) and floweriness (but not at all as floral as Darjeeling tea) which creates the very distinctive and balanced taste. Keemun contains less caffeine than Assam tea. It also displays a hint of delicious orchid fragrance and the so-called 'China tea sweetness. The tea can have a more bitter taste and the smokiness can be more defined depending on the variety.

This exceptional Black tea is made entirely of young Hao Ya, Keemun's finest grade of tea leaves. The bright amber infusion has an appetizing honeyed sweet aroma while the taste is wonderfully smooth and with a light hint of floral aftertaste. It comes in a tin can for easy storing.
