Paratexin NAP2 is not regulated as a Preservative and there are no use restrictions in the EU, USA or Japan.

INCI name: phenethyl alcohol, glyceryl caprylate

Act as preservative in a preservative free product.

Paratexin NAP2 is a combination of an emollient and a fragrance component glyceryl caprylate and phenethyl alcohol. The blend also offers the benefit of broad-spectrum anti-microbial protection.

At typical use concentrations of 0.5 1.3%, Paratexin NAP2 provides the multifunctional effects of emolliency, humectancy, and wetting and exhibits excellent preservative efficacy. It is non-irritating to eyes and skin.
Paratexin NAP2 is compatible with most types of personal care ingredients and is best used within the pH range 4.0 7.5.
