Fresh, clean, ripe and sound pear fruits which are transferred to the Pear Puree Concentrate production facility are first subjected to pre-washing and sorting stages and the selected pears are then subjected to the milling process where the intermediate product called the Pear Mash is obtained. After that, the pear mash is heated up to a certain temperature and goes under the fining process in order to obtain the final product called the Pear Puree. A further evaporation (concentration) process is perfomed in order to produce the Pear Puree Concentrate if a higher concentration is required.
Pear Puree Concentrate is then packed, through aseptic filling or cold filling, into PE bags in metal or plastic drums, in bins or into food tankers with specific volumes as per customer requirements and then the packed pear puree concentrate is transferred to the storage area.
