Walaa was established in 1978 to meet local market requirements and now has expanded to distribute its fine products all over the world. The fully automated plant is situated in Borg El Arab new city-Alexandria-Egypt on an area of more than 12000 square meters and is well equipped with the latest technology with variable chocolate manufacturing lines producing chocolate blocks, spread chocolates, chocolate drops and vermicelli(this is a pasta noodle). In addition to lines producing sponge cakes and small packs of chocolates, honey and jams. WALAA has complete lines to produce fresh biscuits and cakes. The factories are equipped with the latest scientific laboratory equipment and measuring devices according to international and Egyptian standards Production lines are continuously under health and hygienic inspections as well as governmental supervision and guidance.
