Our History dates back to many generations. We have been in the business of Spices, Oil Seeds, Pulses, grains,raisin since the last 120 years. But this was at Regional Market level and Trading activities were carried out. We used to procure goods from the states of Punjab and Haryana and supplied to traders in the states of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. This helped us gain First Hand knowledge about the crops, such as production patterns, quality and supply and that is when we decided to set up office in Mumbai and get into the Export Trade.
In 1989 we established our office in Mumbai and started supplying goods to exporters and in 1991 we made our foray into exports. From a single drop our sales began to grow like a stream and we were soon competing with other major exporters. Our popularity was also growing among the suppliers, who identify with us as we understand them better.
Our commitment to Quality, Timely Shipments and Pricing, attracted many buyers from across the globe and our Export business grew manifold. We have achieved tremendous growth over the years. Starting from zero. We have achieved a turnover of more than Rs.1350 millions in a period of less than 10 years. This turnover is growing day by day and we hope to become one day the largest exporters of Agricultural Products from India
The Ministry of Commerce had set a target of export of 1 Lac tons of Groundnut Kernels for the year 1999-2000. We have exported about 53,000 Metric Tons of Groundnut Kernels during the financial year 1999-2000. This has been regarded by our industry as the Highest ever in a single financial year by any exporter till date and has gone a long way in keeping up with the targets set by the Ministry of Commerce.
