Our objective at France Overseas is to present foreign markets with the local products of our collective of independent Loire Valley winemakers. We all share a strong desire to develop and promote our region s culture and identity.
The company is 75 % owned by our members, each of whom is dedicated to contributing to the development of the Loire Valley wine region. The idea originated with a group of local winemakers to join together and create a company dedicated to developing their export opportunities. This is how France Overseas was born.
At France Overseas, we work with
winemakers from each Loire Valley
appellation to promote their
products abroad.
We choose our winemakers based on 3 main aspects:
AOP: we want to represent the Loire Valley s diversity of
terroir. This region has 69 different AOPs in addition to
declassified wines.
Quality: we meet each winemaker at his or her domain,
discuss, and see the philosophy being lived out at the
winery. Of course, we also taste it. This enables us to make
the right choice, assuring that we offer you the best value
for money in a given AOP.
Human relations: meetings along with that French touch that we feel with the family domain and their team,
being able to see them work with passion and convey the
desires to share their wines with people around the world. more
