Smoked cod liver is produced from fresh cod liver which we get every morning directly from the harbour of Nexoe.
At the factory experienced people rinse and trim the liver, and afterwards smoke it in the genuine way.
Smoked cod liver is an entirely natural product and very rich in vitamins A and D and Omega-3 acid.
During sterilization, oil is exrtracted from the cod liver and the amount of oil may vary from one liver to another.
Serving suggestion:
Before opening the can, place it in the refrigerator for an hour. Drain the oil.
As starters serve with bread, season with pepper and garnish with lemon slices and chopped onions.
