Fructus Meran was founded 1947, as a family company. 

Until 1960 the company worked exclusivly as a fruit seller. Then the Asta Frutta was founded in order to offer an interesting alternative market to the fruit-growers of Alto-Adige and also to guarantee a safe source of supplies to the company.

Finally, in 1970 the company started fruit processing. In the following years many new products were introduced, maintaining the highest levels of quality. 

Guaranteed supplies and a wealth of variety: we have the best fruit throughout the year, in all varieties, thanks to the contribution of over 800 fruit-farmers and to our storage capacity of over 15.000 tons.
