Product Description
Tomato Paste Production Line:
The tomato paste production line is equipped through machineries manufactured by Italian Rossi & Catelli company and has a capacity of processing 1,440 tons of tomatoes per day and the equipment installed in the factory is up to the latest technological developments in the world according to international standards with the production capacity of 12 tons per hour.
Tomato is harvested by hand selecting in the farmland and transferred to the factory in the plastic baskets given to the farmers by the factory. Tomatoes are directed into the discharge section after being weighed by an electrical weighing station. Before discharging, the products are tested by the quality control section of the factory. In this stage, they are firstly tested by eye and experiments and later on they undergo technical tests for quality. Tomatoes are washed in water canals to be conveyed to the sorting tables and well-trained laborers in this section separate the low-quality products. The sound, ripe & non damaged ones are transferred into the primary chopper to be sent to the Hot/Cold Break section. In this stage, tomatoes are again chopped and changed into approximately homogeneous products. Now depending on the certain criteria, like market prediction or the customers' orders, the heating temperature is regulated to determine the final viscosity of the product. Special pumps transfer the final product to the refinery unit. Then the juice taken out from the tomato is sent to a special juice tank to be evaporated. The BRIX of the final product is selective based on the production planning. From this stage onwards, the produced tomato paste depending on the market demand is considered for the following purposes:
- Packing the aseptic tomato paste in aseptic bags inside metal drums.
- Packing non aseptic in plastic drums.
- Packing tomato paste of 28-30 brix with 2% salt in Doypack pouches (2kg, 3kg & 5kg pouches with handle or 100, 250, 500 and 1000 gr pouches without cap).
- Producing ketchup and pack them in Doypack pouches (250 and 500 gr pouches with cap)
