In 1987 combining the considerable technological know how with the enthusiasm of young men full of ideas for a new business, Baccega, Antonello and Girolimetto, created Bag Snacks, where "Bag" is the acronym formed by the initials of the founder's surnames, and "Snacks" immediately and clearly identifies the sector of business. In 1997 Bag Snacks made another breakthrough: the establishment of the Czech controlled company, Bag International. This production unit is important not only for sales of snacks in Czech Republic and in Eastern Europe but represents also a strategic outpost for the access into Northern European markets, as it allows a significant reduction in logistical and transport costs.
