Pescanova's activities cover a wide process that starts with catching fish and shellfish on the principal fishing grounds all over the world, deep freezing the catch and its subsequent marketing in various markets worldwide.

Founded in Vigo, in 1960 by a group of Galician businessmen, today it has more than 100 vessels and is a leading in fish and shellfish markets.

The Aliholding Pescanova Group is comprised of Pescanova Italia, Pescanova France, Pescanova LDA (Portugal) and Pescanova Alimentacion in Spain. Pescanova Alimentacion is in turn comprised of Bajamar Septima (A Coruna), Hasenosa (Porrino), Frinova (Porriño), Pez Austral (Vigo) and Pescanova Chapela (Redondela), as well as the logistics company Frigodis.
