This dark red wine, with aromas of violet and liquorice is fleshy and soft in the mouth.

Founded in 1953, CHANTOVENT has been involved in production since 1993. It is the property of the 1700 winegrowers members of a group of wineries, representing 7000 hectares of vineyards, with an annual production of 400,000 hectolitres. CHANTOVENT is the largest producer of Vin de Pays des Coteaux de Peyriac, with 90% of the production, and the leading Minervois producer, with 35% of the appellation of the same name.
JEAN D'ALIBERT group, is currently our major shareholder. It is made up of the Minervois Producer Union, which represents 9 cooperative wineries, 17 Estates and Chateaux, and the Celliers Jean d'Alibert company, a bottling center in the production area, working especially for CHANTOVENT.
Furthermore, we develop a large on-site bottling business. The President of our group is Mr. Michel Agnel.
CHANTOVENT is a small to medium-sized business with a turnover of about 28 million Euros with the following spread:

60% in mass-market products
15% in traditional channels
Our second shareholder, Groupe Coopératif UCCOAR, distributes nearly one million hectolitres of table wine, Vin de Pays and Appellation d'Origine Contr?lée wine.
Specialist in Languedoc wines, our company strategy is principally to develop strong Vin de Pays, Vin de Cépage and AOC Minervois brands, using a Terroir concept.
