Pork belly cured with good amount of salt, pepper and Spices and subsequently dried in cold air. Our Bacon is either straight (with rind) or rolled (rindless). It is a 'must' ingredient for the carbonara sauce or any other rich and robust pasta sauce. Thinly sliced bacon is served as appetizer in Tuscany.
Since 1923 Salumificio Lombardi is specialized in the production of high quality typical
Tuscan salami, in particular: fresh sausages, Tuscan salami, Tuscan finocchiona, spicy
salami, Tuscany bacon.
The Company flexibility allows to suit various market requirements, in fact, not only it is
proposed a wide range of products, but different sizes are provided to fulfill all current and
future requests of the protagonists of the LOD and normal Trade.
Thanks to the support of a young team offering a prompt service, Salumificio Lombardi
tells itself apart from competitors by the capability of producing customized articles.
Salumificio Lombardi is a salamis' factory of about 1200 square meters, modernly
renovated and expanded in accordance with EC rules. It counts approximately 15
employees with a constant annual production growth.
The wide range of articles proposed is able to meet every need thanks to the high quality of the products and the continuous attention to maintaining a criterion of craftsmanship
during the manufacturing process.
This is the reason why Salumificio Lombardi has been successfully operating in European markets for all these years.
As a result of the continuous research for quality, in 2005 it was reached the Quality
Certification UNI EN ISO 9001:2008
