Fish flavored soup stock is often used in Japan. This product is reproduction of west Japan style soup stock (it's called “dashi”), with dried bonito fish made in Japan and konbu(kelp) from Rausu, Hokkaido.
It’s tasty and lighter in color than eastern style. It can be used in many dishes.

♦ How to make soup " Wafu-dashi (E-861) "
1. Dilute Wafu-dashi ( E-861) approx. 1:10 with water, then heat.
2. Cook udon Noodles and put them into a bowl.
3. Bring the soup almost to boil, then, pourinto the udon bowl.
4. Please serve with Abura-age (deep fried tofu) and/or spring onion on the noodles as topping.
♦ What is Udon?
Udon is a traditional Japanese thick white noodle made from wheat.
The soup is flavored with dried bonito fish or konbu (kelp) . There arevarious local soba tastes in Japan.
Abura-age (deep-fried tofu), tempura, raw egg,etc. can be served as toppings.
