Zita Dairies Industry Ltd. was founded in 1983 by Mr. Stelios Stylianou, and is involved with the production of dairy products distinguished for their unique taste and superior quality.
Zita's product range includes Greek strained yoghurt, traditional yoghurt, fruit yoghurt, halloumi cheese, Greek Feta cheese and dry anari cheese. With seven different products in its yogurt range, Zita has built a strong reputation in the Cypriot market for this product to the point that yoghurt is today the company's flagship. in regard to halloumi cheese production, Zita procures its milk from local farmers of the Paphos region, the place that has traditionally been famous for the best quality of sheep and goat milk. Haloumi, traded under the name ''Pafitiko'', is made the traditional way, from sheep and goat milk and is gradually gaining more and more customers in foreign markets. During the past years Zita's products have succesfully been exported to the USA, Europe and Australia under both Zita's brand label or our partner's private labels.
The company operates in its brand new production facilities, which is ranked among the biggest and most technologically advanced in Cyprus. At the same time, the firm maintains its total quality oriented strategy meeting all Cyprus and International regulations with all its production lines adhering to the principles of ISO 22000 (HACCP) management system and conforming to the International requirements of the US Food and Drugs Administration (FDA), the BRC and IFS.
