SIAL France 2010: A New Beginning and Leap of 21FOOD

In October of 2010, 21FOOD organizes about 30 VIP members to participate SIAL show in France, with a booth about 200 square meters. Sial show of France is held every two years. Tracing back to October of 2006 and 2008, 21FOOD was just an exhibitor who conveyed its own idea to the international buyers and suppliers. However, 21FOOD has achieved a big leapt during these two years.The orange Logo of "21FOOD" are so attractive, carrying the memory and hope of 21FOOD. 21FOOD will go on making great efforts to meet the new challenges.

On 17th to 21th October, 2010, SIAL of France was held in Villeurbanne exhibition center in Paris. SIAL has a history of 46 years. High-quality exhibitors and various exhibiting products attract mant commercial trades around the world. SIAL has already been the benchmark in European and the whole world's food industry.

In October of 2006, 21FOOD, as the unique media representative, participated SIAL,who owns the similar high fame as Anuga of Cologne in food industry. In this platform, 21FOOD met kinds of international quality buyers and changed information of each other.In 2008, 21FOOD came to this show again, with more confidence and experience. And now, in 2010, we organizes a team to the show. This is a big turning point of 21FOOD and it will be recorded in the history of 21FOOD.

On 14th of October, about 30 person guided by Lixu of 21FOOD's Beijing branch flied to Paris from Beijing. All the preparation were fully made under help of 21FOOD's experienced guide. 17the of October is the first day the show.

Villeurbanne exhibition center is a very perfect fanned building. People may easily get lost when enters. Our booth are very scattered, so exhibitors need guide help them to approach their own booth every morning.

There is a total area of 37,000 square meters of the show and about 5700 exhibitors from 106countries, of which 12 countries' exhibitors were the first time to came here. Besides, there are 136,500 professional attendees.

The booths of 21FOOD were in NO.3, NO.5 and NO.8 hall. The decoration of booth's background was green and matched with Chinese traditional printing. It has made great impression to the attendees and exhibitors.

Affected by local strike in Paris, the attendees reduced by 8% than previous. However, it didn't have much influences in 21FOOD. 21FOOD was still very attractive. 21FOOD accepted many loyal international buyers and knew a lot of new friends,which give the fresh blood to our buying team.

There were so many people visiting 21FOOD booth and our staffs were so busy in talking with them so that VIP members of 21FOOD took the role of receipting the international buyers and handing out the magazines. Really appreciate these guyes.

Apart from formal business negotitration, there are so many free foods for tasting and excellent dances for enjoying.

During the show, 21FOOD also organized the team to Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Louvre and other tourist sites. They also came to Auchao supermarket.

SIAL was successfully concluded on 21th, October. According to official statistics, about 5700 exhibitors attent the show while 5500 in 2008. And the innovative products increased by 25%. The activities and conferences during the show attracted many audiences. Due to the big strike,attendees were reduced by 8% than the previous year. Nevertheless, SIAL still plays a catalytic role in economic exchanges of the world. Among 136,500 visitors (147,860 of 2008 show), 62% came from other 200 countries or regions, which reflectes that more countries are actively meeting the challenges under world new economic order.On the spot,most decision-makers are from large distribution area and food and beverage industry. They came to select products can be provided to customers in "post-crisis era". No matter the discussion in the booth and the speech made by politicians visiting the show, the export problems are the central topic.

This is the first time for 21FOOD to organize a pavilion taking part in the show. We have experienced much sorrow and happiness. During past five years, we have been trying our best to find Chinese food exporting markets. And we still have a long way to go to let more people know 21FOOD. Now we are not just an internet medium but a comprehensive service provider in food exporting. We must become a responsible lead in food industry,try different ways to help food enterprises open the door to the world and help them to achieve great performance in food trading. Obviously, it is more difficult than before,but we believe only after we make great efforts can we achive big success.
