The concentrated apple juice is made from fresh, sound and mature apples. It is not adulterated in any way such as through the addition of sugars or acids, and is not processed in any manner that would alter the sensory or nutritional properties outside the normal range of the original fruit. The processing avoids cooked Flavour or other heat damage, but the concentrated apple juice is processed at sufficiently high temperature to substantially reduce the number of viable microorganisms, to eliminate all enzymatic activity, and mould spores. The concentrated apple juice complies with the recommendations of the FAO/WHO Joint Expert Committee on Food Additives (JECFA), the FAO/WHO Joint Meeting on Pesticides Residues (JMPR), the specification from the codex Alimentraius Commision.
