Dextranil
Dextrose Monhydrate-Food Grade
It is a white crystalline odourless powder, sweet in taste.
Advantages:
Description:
Dextrose is a natural sugar occuring widely in nature. Commercially, dextrose is produced by hydrolysing starch followed by purification, concentration and crystallisation.
It is a white crystalline powder with molecular formula C 6 H 12 O 6 , H 2 0 and molecular weight 198 and is readily soluble in water. Its CAS registry No. is 50-99-7. The heat of solution of Dextrose Monohydrate at 25 C is -105.5 J/g and due to such a high negative heat of solution, dextrose gives cooling effect in mouth. It possesses GRAS status.
